About the Experience

These Nordic Wildlife Tours are designed for photographers and dedicated wildlife enthusiasts seeking authentic encounters in the Finnish archipelago. Departing from Kasnäs on Kimitoön, we explore varied habitats ranging from sheltered inner waters to the windswept outer islands.

The diversity of the archipelago allows us to encounter a broad range of species depending on season and weather conditions — from forest-edge birds in sheltered waters to seabirds and marine life in the outer archipelago. Throughout the journey, I share stories, facts and insights about the species and landscapes that make this region so special. With a maximum of eight guests on board, the tour allows flexibility and the possibility to adapt our route to maximise photographic opportunities.

We pause on a quiet island to enjoy locally prepared sourdough sandwiches, Nordic pastries and warm drinks — a moment to slow down and truly connect with the surroundings. This experience is created for those who appreciate nature, photography and the beauty of unspoiled places.

*Pets are welcome but during birds nesting season pets are prohibited from going ashore on islands and must remain on board the boat at all times.*

Here is an overview of the wildlife we may encounter during the tour, ranging from familiar coastal species to rare & remarkable sightings that requires a touch of luck to observe.

Further below, you will find a gallery showcasing the archipelago scenery and species that define the Finnish archipelago.

Remeber: Nature follows her own rhythm. Migration, season and weather all influence wich species we may encounter during your visit
